The BOSU Ballast Ball is not like traditional stability balls and the difference is noticed as soon as the ball gets picked up. What makes the BOSU Ballast Ball different is the 2.5 pounds of movable weight inside (sand like) that helps to engage and target more muscles during all exercises and creates more intense and efficient workouts. The increased workload is felt with any lifting or passing of the ball. The weight inside also prevents the ball from rolling and provides visual and audible feedback when lifting, shaking and shifting the ball. Incorporate the BOSU Ballast Ball into many standard body weight exercises like pushups, crunches, planks or hip bridges or use for deeper back, hip or ab stretches. The six-sided imprinted surface helps ensure proper alignment and positioning when performing exercises. The BOSU Ballast Ball is constructed of thick, high-quality, burst-resistant material for safety during workouts and ensures greater durability. Overall weight of the ball is approximately 7 pounds. For best inflation results fill ball to 90% and allow ball to sit overnight or for several hours. After allowing the ball to rest after the initial inflation, inflate again. The second inflation will fill ball to final size. Maximum user weight limit is 300 pounds. Package includes BOSU Ballast Ball, pump, owner’s manual, tape measure, and workout DVD.
