Hanna Instruments HI98120 Waterproof ORP/Temperature Tester, +/-1000mV ORP, +/-2mV ORP Accuracy, 1mV ORP Resolution

Hanna Instruments HI98120 Waterproof ORP/Temperature Tester, +/-1000mV ORP, +/-2mV ORP Accuracy, 1mV ORP Resolution

The Hanna Instruments HI 98120 is a compact, factory-calibrated, oxygen reduction potential (ORP) and temperature tester that measures in millivolts (mV) and degrees C, has a dual-level LCD screen, a replaceable electrode cartridge with an extendable cloth junction, and a waterproof, dustproof housing that allows the tester to float. An ORP meter, also known as a redox potential tester, measures the oxidization or reduction capacity of a solution, and monitors chemical reactions and ion activity. It is commonly used for water-testing, pulp bleaching, and for biological sample analysis in swimming pools, cooling towers, waste water treatment, and industrial applications. The dual-level LCD screen simultaneously shows the current measurement and the current temperature. This meter has an exposed stainless steel temperature sensor to provide accurate temperature measurement. A stainless steel round connector eliminates bent or broken pins during electrode replacement. The meter comes with the HI 73120 ORP electrode, which has an extendable cloth junction to prolong electrode life. The waterproof, dustproof housing is sealed against humidity and allows the tester to float. The tester works with four 1.5V alkaline batteries (included) for up to 250 hours of continuous operation. An auto power-off feature turns the meter off after eight minutes of inactivity to extend the life of the batteries. The HI 98120 also comes with an electrode removal tool and instructions.Specifications ORP range+ or – 1000mVTemperature range-5.0 to 60.0 degrees C (23.0 to 140.0 degrees F)ORP resolution1mVTemperature resolution0.1 degrees C (0.1 degrees F)ORP accuracy+ or – 2mVTemperature accuracy+ or – .5 degrees C (1 degree F)Operating temperature-5 to 50 degrees C (23 to 122 degrees F)Operating relative humidity100 percentDimensions163 x 40 x 26mm/6.4 x 1.6 x 1.0 inches (H x W x D)Meter weight100g/3.5oz.H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the ho... Hanna Instruments Two Pack HI772-26 (HI755-26) Alkalinity Checker Reagent for 50 tests

Hanna Instruments Two Pack HI772-26 (HI755-26) Alkalinity Checker Reagent for 50 tests

This reagent works with both the 755 & 772 Hanna checker. It may come with the tag 755-26 or 772-26, both reagents work with both checkers. Extreme Accuracy. Easy to Test in 4 Steps - Zero the Checker, Add a regent to your water sample, Insert the Vile in the Checker, Read the Numbered Results. Add, Insert, Read. Includes reagents for 50 x tests. The Hanna Marine Alkalinity Checker bridges the gap between simple chemical test kits and professional instrumentation. Chemical test kits have limited accuracy and resolution since they rely upon the human eye to discern differences in color. Professional instrumentation incorporates a light source such as an LED or tungsten lamp with a filter and a light sensing detector to precisely determine absorbance and ion concentration. Professional instrumentation offers greater resolution and accuracy but can cost hundreds of dollars. The Hanna Marine Alkalinity Checker uses a fixed wavelength LED and silicon photo detector to provide the accuracy of professional instrumentation at the affordable price of a chemical test kit. Features at-a-glance: - Easier to use and more accurate than chemical test kits; - Dedicated to a single parameter; - Small size, big convenience; Ideal for: - Aquaculture; - Water Quality; - Environmental; - Education.

Hanna Combo pH/EC/TDS/C/PPM Tester HI98129

Hanna Combo pH/EC/TDS/C/PPM Tester HI98129

The Hanna Instruments HI 98129 is a multi-parameter tester that measures pH, electro-conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), and temperature, and features automatic temperature compensation (ATC), an LCD screen, automatic shut-off, and a waterproof body that floats in water. The tester automatically compensates for the effects of temperature when taking pH and EC/TDS readings, so additional measurements and manual temperature entries are unnecessary. The HI 98129 meter has a replaceable pH electrode with an extendable cloth junction, and an EC/TDS graphite electrode that is resistant to salts and other corrosives. These features extend the life of the meter by allowing for replacement of the electrodes. Calibration is automatic at one or two points, with two sets of memorized buffer values (pH 4.01/7.01/10.01 or 4.01/6.86/9.18). The EC/TDS conversion factor and temperature compensation coefficient (&Beta) is user-selectable. The tester functions in temperatures of 0.0 to 60.0 degrees C/32.0 to 140.0 degrees F (+ or - 0.5 degrees C/1 degree F), and has a range of pH 0.0 to 14.0 (+ or - 0.05 pH). EC range is 0 to 3999 uS/cm, TDS range is 0 to 2000 ppm (+ or - 2% F.S), with respective resolutions 1 uS/cm and 1 ppm. At 3.5 ounces and 8.3 x 2.7 x 1.3 inches (H x W x D), the HI 98129 is sized for taking measurements in the field. (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) pH testers measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance and are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists. Mini panel mounted TDS 115/220V controller (model #HI 983319-1)

Mini panel mounted TDS 115/220V controller (model #HI 983319-1)

Due to their incredibly low cost, these meters are ideal for all those start-up operations that up to now were manually maintained with substantial savings in time and considerable improvement of the yield. The measurements are displayed in large digits on the LCD with the LED light indicating the exact status of the controllers from a distance. HI 983317 measures conductivity from 0 to 10 EC in steps of 0.01 where HI 983319 checks and controls TDS from 0 to 1999 ppm. HI 983319 operates with a conversion rate of 0.65 between TDS and conductivity which best fits the hydroponics and greenhouse applications. The meters come with a built-in relay terminal that is activated when the measurements are below the setpoint. In order to adjust the setpoint or calibrate the controllers at any point over the full range, simply turn the relevant trimmer positioned on the front panel. The controllers are easy to install and come with mounting brackets. The HI 7632-00 and HI 7634-00 probes are also included and are specially designed for fertilizer solutions. The slim line probes have the same shape and size as their pH counter part to make installation easier and more uniform. In addition, they incorporate a rapid responding temperature sensor as well as a screened cable. Their 2 meter (6.6) leads end in a 5-wire terminal, which incorporates an anti-noise wire, particularly important when working in environment with running pumps or apparatus creating electro-magnetic fields. Temperature affects EC and TDS measurements to the tune of 2% per degree. Hence, the controllers compensate for the temperature automatically. The meters are available in three models to best suit your application. You can choose from the 100-110V or the 220-240V mains-operated model. For those who prefer to operate at low voltage, there is also the 12VDC version with the transformer included in the low cost of the meter.
