Performance Plus Basic Black 2' wide guitar strap. Designed to use on an acoustic guitar without adding a second strap button (most steel string guitars have a strap button at the very bottom of the guitar but a string or cord is used to attach to the top of the guitar). Using a cord or tie string prevents the need to purchase an additional strap button and danger of damaging your instrument during the strap button installation. How to use a tie sting (cord) Insert one side of the tie string at the top (headstock) underneath the guitar strings right behind the white guitar nut but below the tuning posts and pull it through the guitar headstock on the opposite side. Inserting underneath the strings, will not interfere with tuning, and will prevent the strap from coming off accidentally. Securely tie the two ends of the cord together with a string double-knot. Test the knot's integrity by pulling on the two sides of the cord. For electric guitars: Remove the string from the strap and attach strap to the 2 strap buttons (usually on the bottom and on top of the guitar body or at the neck joint) The Performance Plus strap is good quality inexpensive guitar accessory for most guitars, both acoustic and electric.
