The TBS2604 4K UHD video encoder accepts 1 HDMI input at maximum resolution 3840 x 2160P (30 FPS) and encodes the signal to H.265 (HEVC) or H.264 (AVC) to a customised bit rate either CBR or ABR with AAC or MP3 audio encoding. The TBS 2604 is ideal for lowering the bandwidth of a 4K UHD video for distribution over LAN / WAN whilst maintaining high quality video. The TBS 2604 has dual stream output, allowing for any both H.265 and H.264 to be streamed at the same time, making it useful for situations where the receiving device only has H.264 codec embedded.
