The advantage of this unit is it is quickly and readily removable form the line and therefore a rider can disconnect and carry it to the top as another rider is already coming down. Eliminating the need to bring the trolley all the way back to the start for the next rider. Using dual pulleys instead of one also substantially increased the speed because it holds the operator straight and doesn't waste energy on the twisting from side to side.
