These tiles feature a perforated surface that allows for water, dirt and debris to easily flow through the flooring system, which aides in making these tiles non-slip. These outdoor gym floor tiles, when interlocked, will create a seamless flooring surface which will provide more shock absorption than standard concrete and can be easily painted or taped to create the sport floor of choice. Outdoor Sports tiles are also backed by a 10 year warranty. Material - Constructed of the best high quality impact resistant polypropylene (extremely durable hard thermoplastic polymer) available. This Basketball Court is an entry level sport court floor engineered for outdoor and indoor use. For outdoor use, the court should be installed over a hard surface such as concrete, compacted gravel, or asphalt. The court measures 20'6" x 24'6". This basketball court contains our Perforated (drain) tile made from high-impact polypropylene. Each tile measures 12" x 12" x ½" thick, and our polymer edges measure 12" x 2 ½" x ½" thick. Expansion will vary by court size and temperature. The overhang (distance from backboard to baseline) on this standard kit is 2' 3", includes the edges and about ½" of expansion. These tiles are hard, durable and contain an elevated feature that enhances the grip creating extra traction control to prevent slipping while the court is in use. It contains the maximum UV protection; however, it still needs to be properly maintained to keep its color. Unlike many competitors, ModuTile includes the white lines on the court. We use a four-step painting process to ensure durability of the lines. Installing ModuTiles loop-to-peg interlocking basketball floor system is simple. You may attach the floor tiles together by using your own bare hands or a plastic mallet. You may consider using knee pads for comfort. Professional installation is not required.
