Troubleshoot-speaker does not produce sound mostly due to incorrect connections, audio output jack from your computer will be green, make sure media device or cd or dvd device is playing and the software volume settings are turned up and not muted. If still problems prevail, disconnect the speaker source cable from computer and connect to a smartphone, ipod, or anything else with a 0.14 inch headphone output. If speakers work on other source then the issue lies with computer or connections. Sound is distorted, turn the volume down by 25 percent or 50 percent. If this does not work, also check the audio software volume level and decrease it if necessary.
