The humidifier is factory set at 70%RH and can be adjusted by users to any value between 60% and 80%RH. Three bottoms available for humidity setting and calibration on top of the humidifier. Long press the button 'C' could disable the low water alarm. How does it work? The electronic humidifiers are ACTIVE humidifiers. The sensors in the humidifier continuously monitor the humidity levels in the cigar humidor, and the humidifier releases moisture ONLY when the humidity level is lower than a specific level (for example 70RH), so that the humidity can be constantly maintained. Can it use battery? Yes, it can use 5V batteries, but only EXTERNAL batteries apply, because there is no built-in battery chamber in the product.
