The Blinc Bluetooth integrated version of the MAKO is the most recent addition to the TORC integrated Bluetooth collection. The Mako is a type of shark. It is the fastest species of shark. It is recognizes by its body lines. It is rounded with a pointed nose. it is because of these identifying traits that the MAKO T14 was aptly named. The MAKO replaces both the Prodigy and Blade shells. It is lighter weight that both previous models. It uses a dual density EPS system and it features laser contoured comfort liner padding. It is the only helmet in this price class to use an optically correct flat panel shield. It also uses TORC's new locking drop down internal sun visor system called Smooth Lock. We believe we have created the best helmet in class, and we dare you to find a better helmet for the same price. The T27 is a revolutionary developmental achievement for TORC helmets. This new European inspired design takes the modular helmet to new places in both a pricing and overall footprint size. This helmet checks in at nearly 20 percent less physical size, than the model it replaces. Major advancements in EPS technology allow this helmet to be smaller and more compact, all the while offering every bit the protection as much larger and bulkier competitors. This helmet features significant intake venting and incredible Venturi venting for the rear exhaust. The slider based drop down visor mechanism is reminiscent of devices which cost 4 times the price. The latching system for the front chin bar features a one button release mechanism. The front bar is fastened by stainless steel posts and a metal on metal locking system. The head form fit is an intermediate oval. The shell and chin are made from a thermoplastic alloy. The liner is fully removable and machine washable. In addition to these features, this helmet comes fully equipped with improved Bluetooth 2.0 technology to insure compatibility with your Bluetooth enabled cell phone, android, or iPhone. With two built in speakers, up to 8 hours of continuous talk time and 150 hours of standby time, the T27B allows you to receive and send calls, listen to stereo music streaming from your MP3, phone, or XM radio, as well as listen clearly to GPS directions (Incoming cell calls automatically override other communications, but the new call reject feature can limit interruptions). Combine two or more BLINC enabled helmets, and enjoy communications from rider to passenger, and passenger to rider (intercom), or talk bike to bike (2-way communications within 100 feet). Other features include a noise cancelling microphone, full duplex communications with DSP Filter, Self-adjusting volume, glove friendly and waterproof controls.
