MSA GALAXY and GALAXY GX2 System calibration test stands are mechanical devices that deliver calibration test gas and monitor bump testing and calibration processes. MSA frequently fields user questions regarding whether test stands require calibration; test stands do not require calibration. GALAXY System Operating Manuals identify routine system maintenance including necessary, periodic replacement of inlet filters and seals to ensure proper calibration gas flow through both the test system and detector undergoing calibration or bump check.
