The clock has an easy set preset or default alarm times (morning: 7:00 a.m., afternoon: 1:00 p.m., evening: 6:00 p.m., night: 10:30 p.m.) and is backlit display for convenient nighttime viewing. Often confusion can occur as to what day of the week it is, because of this; the Talking Clock emphasizes the "Date" rather than the "Day of the Week".
