Stage 2: After repeating Stage 1 more than 50 times, keep your dog more than 2 meters away from you (but still where it can see you) and blow the whistle. If your dog comes to you, reward it. Then walk away and repeat these steps. If your dog doesn't come to you, revert back to Stage 1. Stage 3: Hide in a place where your dog can't see you and blow the whistle. If your dog comes over, reward it. Hide yourself again and repeat. Your dog may need some time to find you. During this time, be patient and do not make any noise besides the dog whistle. Stage 4: Train your dog outside using the method described in of Stage 3. Increase the distance between you and your dog gradually (e.g. 100 meters, then 200 meters, and then 300 meters. If your dog finds you at the furthest distance, congratulations! You have trained your dog to come to you!
